“The Host was lovely but her English wasn't very good and we did struggle to communicate. The abacus experience was like being at school with us being given a sheet of sums to do, but not much explanation was given on how to use the japanese abacus. The calligraphy part of the class was quite short and again not much of an explanation was given on how to hold the brush and follow the technique. As I say the host was lovely but there would need to be much more explanation provided and communication”
